Michelle Applebaum


Michelle Applebaum was born in Rome, Italy and started Ballet, Modern and Contemporary dance training at the age of 9 at Balletto di Roma. She concluded her training with a Ballet Degree at the age of 19. She then won a one year Contemporary Dance Scholarship at the age of 20 with the Spellbound Dance Company. After that she taught Ballet to children ages from 5 to 15 and adults, she also taught Contemporary and Modern Dance to adults and children at the Danzarmonia School. She got a Bachelor's Degree in 2011 at Sapienza University in Rome and then a Master's Degree in 2014 at Roma Tre, both in Performing Arts. She then decided to move to New York City and is currently attending two Internships regarding Fundraising, Marketing and Administrative Organization for two New York City based dance companies.

Anne-Lise Berthelot

Dancer - Teaching Assistant

Anne-Lise began her training in 2009 in Rick Odums Institute in Paris, France where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Graham and Horton for 4 years. She became part of Le Jeune Ballet Jazz Rick Odums in 2011, and also danced with the hip-hop company Like Bounce Crew for TV shows all over France. In 2013 she has worked with Jose De La Cruz and then decided to leave France for America where she enrolled the Independent Study Program at the Alvin Ailey School in New York for a year. Since then she danced for Matthew Rushing in 2013 and she is now working with Eddie Stockton and Cedan Dance Compagny for Cécilia Daninthe.

Shoko Fujita


Shoko has graduated with highest honors from Japan Women’s College of Physical Education and got a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science specialized in Dance Studies. From age of 19, she has performed as soloist works from Ayako Ogawa, Tokihiko Sakamoto and Akane Hakoda. She has performed Rachmaninov’s “Piano Concerto No.3” choreographed by Uwe Sholz, in the 10th Anniversary performance of Studio ARCHITANZ and Lausanne GALA 2013.She has attended summer intensive including University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Joffrey Ballet School. In 2012 she moved to NY and became a dancer at Joffrey Concert Group directed by Davis Robertson. She has performed with guest choreographers Dwight Rhoden, Africa Guzman and Larry Keigwin. She has also worked with Dawn Hillen, Saya Harada and Ei Arakawa and has performed for Paris and Wizard (Japan Exhibition at Museum of Modern Arts). She is currently working with Eryc Taylor, Joyce King, Yuka Kawazu and Rebekka Nodhturft. Shoko has performed for Whitney Biennial 2014 at Whitney Museum of American Art.

Anna Johannes


Anna Maria Johannes was born in 1990 close to Munich, Germany. Between the ages of 5-18 years she passed all of the R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance) examinations with the highest result "distinction". In 2012 she graduated with a master as a professional contemporary dancer by "CobosMika Company" in Barcelona. Before that she trained with "Iwanson International" in Munich and "Danseuddannelsen" in Copenhagen. That same year she received an important culture award for "excellent achievements in contemporary dance" and soon after she got her first job as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and show manager in a big luxury hotel in Scuol, Switzerland. Since January she lives in New York City to carry on with intensive training in order to improve her dancing skills and continue working on her professional dancing career.

Hanna Olvera


Hanna-Leena Olvera is a native of Finland. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Culture and Art from Kuopio Academy of Music and Dance. Hanna has been training, dancing and teaching internationally in Finland, Iceland, Germany and the United States. Currently she performs with White Road Dance Media and a salsa dance company Framboyan. Hanna teaches dance at NY Dancers Studio. Previously she has had the pleasure of working with variety of choreographers Tony Vezich, Jorma Uotinen, Sannamaria Kuula and Sunhwa Chung/Ko-Ryo dance theater just to mention a few. She also holds a certificate in Thai Massage and is passionate about continuing her learning in eastern medicine.

Koliane Rochon


Koliane Rochon Prom Tep was born and raised in Montreal. After being a gymnast for 5 years, she started her first rigorous dance training at Ballet Divertimento (Montreal). She is right now completing her OPT after graduating from the Certificate program of Peridance Capezio Center (New York). She has performed works by Enzo Celli, Bryan Arias, Igal Perry and has trained with Milton Myers, Richard Chen See, Tymberly Canale, Jesse Zaritt, Manuel Vignoulle, Graciela Kozak and many others.
